Review: Icing Makeup Brushes

We all know how much of a struggle it is to find good quality brushes for a great price and sometimes we are so desperate that we go for those cheap E.L.F brushes that, let's admit, are not very good quality at all. Instead of paying a pretty penny for one brush, go for something more affordable! Icing stores are affiliated with Claire's stores, but Icing is more of a teen/adult store. They have a small selection but still plenty of variety of makeup brushes, they are also amazing quality! They are comparable to something like real techniques brushes or high end brushes, but more soft and flexible bristles, so they aren't exactly high end brushes but they are definitely worth a try if you haven't tries these yet! Icing also has great deals, they are always having buy one, get one free on beauty products and on top of that you can get 15% off or 20% off every purchase with your perks card, just ask your local icing associate and its free!

Face Brushes
The face brushes are absolutely amazing! I love how they come in different styles, so far these four are the only ones that I have found.

The white handle ones are very simple, so if your not into the patterns and colors these wold be great for you.

The brown handle ones remind me of the Eco Tools brushes, and have the same quality too, you couldn't even tell a difference!

The floral handle ones are extremely soft, I think that they have more of a softer feel compared to the other brushes.

The pink handle one is one of my favorites, maybe because it's the only one I have but it's great to use for powder all over the face because it is such a big brush to get a perfect amount of powder on your beautiful face!

All of these brushes I got at great deals, so I couldn't tell you the exact price that I paid for each of these. Icing is always having a buy one get one free on beauty and when they do I take full advantage of that. I also use my perks card, that is totally free by the way, it gives me a deal on every purchase, like 15% or 10$ off and so much more great deals! They also have good quality makeup that I have to try out, because I only have a few things, like this highlighter pictured below. It has great pigmentation and is such a beautiful color and pairing this with one of the brushes creates a beautiful glow!

Eye Brushes

The eye brushes are just as great as the face brushes, sadly I only have three right now but my collection will soon grow! These are great brushes but they do sometimes feel not as soft as you would like them to be. It makes you put a little more effort into blending eye shadows, but something like the angled brush is great for brows or eye liner because it is not as soft it helps to create a more precise line.  Like I said these are not high end brushes but they do a fantastic job, they don't look or feel cheap and these have lasted me for almost over a year now! But make sure you clean them regularly to prevent your bristles from becoming horrible and you also don't want a lot of germs all over your brushes!

Go check out your local Icing store and if you happen to get any of their beauty products let me know how you liked them, or didn't like them!

  2. What cute makeup brushes! Btw, to answer your questions from your last post, my favorites makeup from Maybelline are their eyeshadow palettes and their mascara! Good products and reasonably priced!
